Terms of
Service

These are the rules for using BOSSFYTE. Using the app means you accept them. They are written to be read, so they are short.

1. Go carefully out there

BOSSFYTE sends you into the physical world to photograph cars, and that is the part of this document we most want you to actually read.

You are responsible for how you behave while playing. No catch is worth getting hurt or getting someone else hurt.

2. Your account

The app creates an anonymous account on your device — you do not need to give us anything to play. Your spotter number is issued in order of arrival and is permanent.

An anonymous account lives on that one device. If you lose it without linking an Apple account first, the garage goes with it and we cannot recover it, because there is nothing tying it to you. Linking is the only way to make it survive.

One account per person. Do not run several to farm the game.

3. Your photographs stay yours

You keep ownership of every photograph you take. By striking a card you give us permission to store it, show it on your card, and display it to other players on the feed and leaderboards — that is what the game does with a catch. That permission covers running and promoting BOSSFYTE and nothing else. We will not sell your photographs or license them on.

Only photograph what you are entitled to photograph, and do not upload anything that is not yours.

4. What you earn, and what it is not

Cards, MINT, ranks and badges are features of a game. They are a licence to use them inside BOSSFYTE, not property, and this is a deliberate design position rather than fine print:

5. Play it straight

The whole premise is that you were physically there and caught it. Value is only ever created by a catch that passes validation. Do not:

What happens if a catch does not hold up

Catches are checked, and high-rarity ones settle only after they clear. If a catch is later judged fraudulent, everything downstream of it is reversed — the card, its currency, its XP, its leaderboard contribution, any first-to-spot badge, and any set completion it counted toward. A first-to-spot badge that is clawed back passes to whoever legitimately caught it next.

We will always tell you why, and you can appeal. If an appeal succeeds, what was taken is reinstated. We would much rather be occasionally wrong in your favour than run a game where honest catches vanish without explanation.

Persistent or deliberate cheating can cost you the account.

6. What other players post

The feed carries other people's catches and comments. We moderate what is reported, and you can block and report from inside the app, but we do not review everything before it appears. Content on the feed belongs to whoever posted it.

7. This is an early build

BOSSFYTE is in TestFlight and under active development. Features will change, some will be removed, and there may be bugs, downtime and data loss. Seasons and events close on schedule — if you miss one, you miss it, which is the point of a season.

The app is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using it.

8. Not affiliated with any manufacturer

BOSSFYTE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer. Makes and models are named as plain text to identify cars. No manufacturer logos, badges or wordmarks are used as assets in the app or on this site. Production figures come from public documented sources and are stored with their source and confidence; where a figure is a best estimate, the app says so.

9. Ending it

You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
